I was born in Wuxi, China, and now live in New York, United States. I am studying fashion design at Parsons School of Design, and have communication design as my minor. With the background in my undergraduate study, I naturally design for people and emotion. American Biologist E.O. Wilson said:“ The love of complexity without reductionism makes art; the love of complexity with reductionism makes science.” For me, design is a third culture that combines art and science, two of the most creative cultures of mankind. Design changes our environment, influences behavior and, more importantly, changes our lifestyle. Regardless of the field of design, the principles and processes of design are intersecting, similar, and can be transformed into each other. I am actively exploring the ways to intersect emotion and technology through effective logical and experimental design media. I thrive in the cross-section of aesthetics, experience, and accessibility.
